The th Engineer Topographic Battalion The Americans in Tetbury by Merlin Fraser History is a big place and with so many memorial events scattered throughout it is far too easy for lesser facts and events to get lost and then forgotten. Everest Everest 1 2 are you ready for everest? Sed lacinia accumsan lectus, sed facilisis eros suscipit in. Jill Tendrall in the case - and to his knowledge she seems to make it all even more complicated. Additionally he faces betrayal within the police force up to highest rank. And he's caught in the middle - what's he going to do? Follow his instincts and act like the policeman he is, or lose the woman he loves?

This time the reader is taken into a complicated but nevertheless nerve-wrecking "game" of police work, crime and law - and Merlin Fraser is playing masterfully with what the reader thinks to know - and what really is going to happen. The entire case is a master game of reality and its edges and leaves the reader breathless and head shaking in desperation to find out more - to the last word.

And I promise, the end of this book is going to beat a blast!! Sequels frequently do not live up the high standard of the first novel, however Merlin Fraser delivers in spades!

A Murder Mystery Novel from Merlin Fraser explores a paranormal world mixed with police corruption.

The concept of out of body experience and this time, taking over the body of a modern-day woman by a past life, is used here to incredibly good effect. DI Nick Burton and his friend, CS Dan Davies are confronted by a conspiracy to protect a family who is just as criminally involved in as they were in the s. The story starts with a lonely, single woman awakening in a cheap hotel, bloodied and with no idea how long she has been there, or how she arrived on the premises.

What is more, the receptionist recognises her as someone else! When she gets home, Deborah Patterson discovers to her horror, that she has been gone for several days. I don't give spoilers, so what I am going to say is that Fraser's novel is superb, the plot is intricate and interesting. His characters are engaging - it was like meeting old friends again - and the ending - what can I say?

Inner Space Book 2 - Merlin Fraser I've often found that book sequels never quite measure up to the first of a series, although I knew this author would never fail to entertain after reading Inner Space Book 1. However, I was thrilled to find that Inner Space Book 2 was not only as superbly crafted as Inner Space Book 1, but kept me riveted yet again right up to the very end. Inner Space Book 2 - The Reluctant Nemesis, is not only a very skilfully written, complete crime mystery in itself, but as the second in a trilogy, it re-introduces the reader to some of those unforgettable characters from Inner Space Book 1, along with another fascinating look into the mysterious, paranormal world.

I'm now convinced, however well-penned and entertaining Inner Space Book 1 was, that it was in fact only a taste of what was to come in the remaining books of this trilogy.

  • Italian Boss, Proud Miss Prim (Mills & Boon Modern) (Mills and Boon Modern).
  • Get A Copy!
  • The White Mans Indian: Images of the American Indian from Columbus to the Present;

After reading the first two books of the series I am confident - I will not be disappointed! Frankly, I didn't think Merlin Fraser could do it twice in a row. In fact, he did not.

The Reluctant Nemesis - Merlin Fraser

The first in this trilogy was a perfect set up for Book Two and hints broadly at what await us in Book Three. This time the pace is faster and the plot and sub plots provide twists and turns that will keep a reader guessing from first page to last. I will warn you now - if you think Mr. Fraser is going to go left with the action, he will most assuredly go right. Again, the characters are richly drawn and from the first scene, they are up to their necks in mystery and mayhem.

The Reluctant Nemesis

Again, the characters are richly drawn and from the first scene, they are up to their necks in mystery and mayhem. The principal actors from Book One join the action and bring their formidable talents to bear on crimes from the past the present and the future. What follows is a wild ride that touches on organizational politics, departmental border skirmishes, suspense, intrigue, romance, double dealing, sex, corruption in places high and low, arson, assault, robbery, murder and absolute terror.

That is well over the quota of plot elements but the author balances them all beautifully.

The Expanse Book 2 - Caliban's War

This novel does not cross the genres of fiction so much as it creates a new one. Book Two of the trilogy is designed for people who love to read a marvelous story perfectly told by an author who is stylistically gifted.
